Lotte Chemical hosted its 5th Lotte Chemical Partner Environmental Seminar on August 28, 2025, at Lotte World Tower in Seoul. Over 70 partners joined to boost sustainability skills. The theme, “Trend of Environmental Laws and Regulations for Sustainable Supply Chain Management,” guided discussions. Attendees explored the Individual Environment Act, the Voluntary Reporting System for Chemical Substances, and Life Cycle Assessments (LCA). The Support Project for Supply Chain ESG offered practical tips for compliance.
Park In-cheol, head of Lotte Chemical’s ESG management division, opened the event. He stressed global supply chain rules, ESG integration, and avoiding greenwashing. “We’ll grow together with partners,” he said, emphasizing Lotte Chemical ESG initiatives. The seminar, ongoing since 2022, fosters Lotte Chemical sustainable partnerships.
Partners learned about Lotte Chemical’s green supply chain and eco-friendly strategies. Topics included Lotte Chemical carbon reduction efforts and clean energy initiatives. The event, a key Lotte Chemical environmental awareness event, equipped suppliers with tools for ESG compliance. It reinforced Lotte Chemical corporate sustainability and environmental responsibility. The Lotte Chemical supplier ESG program highlighted actionable steps for a greener future. This partner environmental management seminar strengthened collaboration, ensuring sustainable growth for Lotte Chemical and its network. More such events are planned.
